Image Five "Secret"
headquarters for Crime Stoppers... okay, it's not really secret, but
there's quite a lot of security to get through to see
it. And rightly so! Did you know the names of people - like you and
me - who phone in information about crimes is kept soooo secret that
not even police detectives are allowed to see it? (Not even if they go to
court to try to make Crime Stoppers hand it over!)
Handy Hint: GOOD
LUCK!!!
Class Project
Go out into the school grounds and look at all the neighbouring properties. Choose the
scariest or most innocent looking house, yard or building and then
write a short scary story about a crime that
happens there, using your teacher, principal and school gardener as
victims, under-cover agents or heroes.
Science Experiment Find 5 different ways to make fingerprints on overhead projector film (using ink, powder etc). Then see if you can shift them to other places using sticky tape, glossy paper, potato and other items you think may be helpful. Don't be afraid to experiment. That's what good science and creative thinking is all about. |
