Class Project

Go out into the school grounds and look at all the neighbouring properties. Choose the scariest or most innocent looking house, yard or building and then write a short scary story about a crime that happens there, using your teacher, principal and school gardener as victims, under-cover agents or heroes.

Secret tip: Science and Mathematics often seem boring and repetitive BUT they can be heaps more fun once you learn to think creatively.

Science Experiment

Find 5 different ways to make fingerprints on overhead projector film (using ink, powder etc). Then see if you can shift them to other places using sticky tape, glossy paper, potato and other items you think may be helpful. Don't be afraid to experiment. That's what good science and creative thinking is all about.
